Romanian Salsa Festival is at its third edition and brings together big names from the international salsa stage.

This event is produced with the invaluable support of Albert Torres, the greatest promoter of salsa in the world and the organizer of the World Salsa Championship. The national selection for World Salsa Championship will also take place during this festival.

Last year, as o world premiere, Romania was represented at this contest; it entered the competition against 40 other countries. Our country was represented by two couples, which is singular for this kind of contest: Zaharis and Ina (13-th place) and Andreea andTarek (20- th place). Albert Torres wished to give the chance to participate in the World contest to the Romanian couple who won the second place in the national contest, after the couple from Bulgaria.

In the week of 4-10 August all kinds of salsa activities will take place on the Romanian littoral and you will be able to attend the workshops of our international guests.

You will watch an impressive production of shows, special effects, traditional Cuban dance and live music performed by an international band who will come for the first time in Romania all the way from Cuba.

The show on Friday night is for you, salsa music fan, whether you are a dancer or not. We’ll bring Broadway to the Romanian littoral and you will witness a show to remember.

·Edwin Rivera: actor, performer and choreographer of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony in the movie “El Cantante”,
·Los Pambos: the most famous group of salsa performers in Eastern Europe,
·Pablo and Diana: Spain national champions in the “Salsa Cabaret” division, the most spectacular style of salsa.
· Papa Rumba, producer of Danzarte Castellon.
· Mundo Latino, the most famous salsa school in Turkey.
